About Dante Lee
Dante Lee is a 31-year old marketing guru, a PR maven, an award-winning business coach, and a best-selling author.
He is the president and CEO of Dante Lee International (formerly Diversity City Media) and the co-founder of Lee Moss Media. These award-winning companies help clients reach consumers through online advertising and public relations.
His company's long-time clients include Nationwide Insurance, Choice Hotels, McDonald's, BET, NASCAR, Verizon, TV One, and many more.
Lee has been recognized by MSNBC, CNN, and scores of newspapers and magazines. Ebony Magazine named him one of the "Top 30 Young Leaders For 2006", and profiled him as a successful Black business owner in 2010. Black Enterprise Magazine nominated him for the 2006 Small Business of the Year Award, and highlighted his company in three different back-to-back issues.
He was also a featured guest on the Tavis Smiley Show and on The Mo'Nique Show.
His 4th book Black Business Secrets, released in November 2010, is published by Tavis Smiley's Smiley Books imprint. The book features exclusive business tips and strategies, and one-on-one interviews with Bob Johnson, George Fraser, Karen Hunter, Tom Burrell, and several others.
Lee serves as a motivational speaker and diversity consultant, and has addressed several groups including the African American Business Summit (AABS), the Tavis Smiley Leadership Institute, the National Association of Black Telecommunications Professionals (NABTP), and the Booker T. Washington Economic Development Summit.
Lee was born and raised in the Washington, DC area. He graduated from Bowie State University with a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, and was the only person in the institution's 100-year history to graduate from a 4-year program, in three years.
